The Burren in May is one of those things that stays with you, the limestone pavements cracked open and alive with Spring Gentians, Bloody Cranesbill and mountain avens pushing through where nothing should grow. It is a landscape that has always felt quietly sacred, long before churches were built in it.

This holy water font brings that feeling indoors. Part of the Burren Collection, it is decorated with the wildflowers of the limestone landscape, hand-formed in vivid underglaze and finished with a glossy glaze, with my hidden ladybird nestled among them.

A contemporary take on an old Irish tradition, no devotional imagery, just the wild beauty of the Burren doing what it does. Beautiful as a wall piece or quietly meaningful as a water font.
