Holy water fonts were once part of every Irish home, a quiet blessing at the door, a small daily ritual that most of us grew up with without ever really thinking about it. These fonts bring that tradition back without the heavy religious imagery, just the natural beauty of Irish wildflowers, and a gentle nod to something that still means a great deal to many people.

This font is decorated with Calla Lilies, long associated with purity, new beginnings, and the marking of life’s important moments. Hand painted in pale underglaze with their characteristic blue spadix, each lily is built up in three dimensions and sits proud of the surface, giving this font a little more depth than the others, and a presence that is immediately striking. Finished with a glossy transparent glaze, with my hidden ladybird waiting to be found. A gift that carries both beauty and quiet intention.

Handbuilt from stoneware clay in Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare. Each piece is made to order just for you, allow around 4 weeks for delivery.

Please order by 22nd November to receive in time for Christmas.

Dimensions: 15cm x 8cm x 5cm (the 3D lily blooms sit proud of the surface, giving this font a little more depth)
