Fuchsia Wall Plaque — Handmade Irish Ceramic | Deora Dé

Fuchsia Wall Plaque — Handmade Irish Ceramic | Deora Dé
I grew up visiting my grandparents in Ballyporeen, Co. Tipperary, where fuchsia tumbled over the front wall all summer long. The Irish name for it is Deora Dé, God's tears, and that combination of wildness and beauty is exactly what this plaque brings to your wall.
Hand-rolled from stoneware clay, each plaque carries its own slight warp and texture, the mark of something genuinely made by hand rather than cast from a mould. Vivid fuchsia blooms, painted in bold underglaze and finished with a glossy transparent glaze, with my hidden ladybird tucked among them.
Available unframed or set in a simple frame that lets the piece breathe.
Handbuilt from stoneware clay in Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare. Each piece is made to order just for you, please allow around 4 weeks for delivery.
