The Burren is one of my favourite places in the world, particularly in rough weather, when the limestone landscape feels almost prehistoric and the wildflowers pushing through the cracks seem like a small act of defiance. This collection brings that landscape indoors. Each piece is hand-rolled from stoneware clay and decorated with the wildflowers of the Burren, Spring Gentians, Bloody Cranesbill, Golden Samphire and Daisy, painted in vivid underglaze and finished with a glossy transparent glaze. The slight warp of the hand-rolled clay gives each piece its own organic character, no two are exactly alike. Every piece carries my hidden ladybird.

Available in framed wildflower styles, small and large, handmade from stoneware clay in Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare.
