Fuchsia Plant Pot — Handmade Irish Ceramic | Wildflowers of Ireland

Fuchsia Plant Pot — Handmade Irish Ceramic | Wildflowers of Ireland
There is something about putting a living plant into a handmade pot that changes both of them. The pot stops being an object and becomes part of something growing, and the plant finds a home that feels like it was always meant for it.
This pot is inspired by the fuchsia, the Deora Dé, God's tears, that wild, bell-shaped flower that tumbles over every wall and gate in the Irish countryside all summer long. I grew up with it spilling over my grandparents' garden in Ballyporeen, Co. Tipperary, and that vivid red and purple has never left me. Hand-sculpted fuchsia blooms and butterflies wind around the organic square form, painted in rich underglaze and finished with a glossy transparent glaze. My signature hidden ladybird is tucked somewhere among them.
These are designed as cache pots — no drainage hole, no saucer needed. Simply pop your plant inside in its nursery pot. It keeps things mess-free and means you can swap plants in and out as the seasons change.
